Officially launched at the end of March 2010, the Free Cloud Alliance (FCA) recently got 3 new members who are willing to defend the principles of Freedom and Open Source for the cloud.
eyeOS, Demotera and Linbit -3 open source Cloud Computing providers- believe as the other FCA members in the user's freedom.
eyeOS company entered with its eponymous offer which actually is a platform including an OfficeSuit, Groupware applications and tools to develop Web applications. Demotera joined with AtikTeam collaborative platform while Linbit entered the FCA with its DRBD -a system refering to block devices designed as a building block to form high availability (HA) clusters.
