TIO News aims at giving you more informations about providers. FengOffice is a service which provides a Total Outsourcing Informations service. Let's study this solution, its state of growth until now, its type of customers and the guarantees in terms of security which it offers.

Released in early 2009, FengOffice is a "young" service which we commonly call a "Collaboration Platform" or a "Groupware". This type of tool allows the users to share of a calendar, emails, documents or the roadmap an RSS reader. And actually, FengOffice has got all these functions, and offers them all in a very "Google style", according to me. But in order to know more about FengOffice, I interviewed Marcos Saiz, one of the founders of FengOffice, who informed me that "the platform is already used by large corporations with hundreds of users for some of them." Regarding security and the data which is entered by the users, FengOffice provides several export possibilities within the application. FengOffice also gives the possibility to download a full backup. But, what is currently not a possibility for the clients is to download the connexion log files of their users.

Moreover, Marcos Saiz confirmed to me that until now, the software is only provided by the eponymous company and not by any partners nor competitors. M. Saiz explains this by the fact that they prefer encouraging their partners to offer complimentary services instead of duplicating theirs.
