The Free Cloud Alliance will be introduced at CONSEGI in Brazil

After being introduced in May at Paris Chamber of Commerce, the Free Cloud Alliance will be the subject of a lecture at CONSEGI 2010 in Brazil.

Jean-Paul Smets -Nexedi CEO- was invited to CONSEGI 2010 to give a lecture entitled "The Free Cloud Alliance: Successful e-Government on the Cloud, without Losing". This will be the occasion to introduce The Free Cloud Alliance, its purposes and the so-called "TIO Libre" guidelines which aim at protecting Governments against the risks of vendor lock-in and data theft posed by proprietary Cloud Computing. The lecture will take place on 2010/08/19.

Consegi is the 3rd International Congress on Free Software and E-Government which will take place on 18-20 of august 2010. To examine how deep the subject "Cloud Computing", Consegi 2010's organization invited notable speakers in this area of knowledge.

Following this event will begin the OSOE Summer Camp at Confenis 2010 on 23-27 of August 2010.
